Past Training Sessions
The National IPM CAPs Working Group hosted a one-day interactive training to help interested parties begin the process of becoming IPM CAP-certified Technical Service Providers (TSPs). Training session agenda available here.
The workshop, taught by Extension and IPM experts, trained participants on a number of certification requirements. The remaining requirements can be completed on NRCS' training website, AgLearn, or at a training in your state, if one is available. When: January 19, 2009, 8:00am – 5:00pm (in conjunction with NAICC annual meeting)
Where: Orlando, Florida – Wyndham Orlando Resort
Who: Current TSPs, prospective TSPs including crop advisors, Extension, employees of public agencies, non-profits, private businesses, conservation districts, etc.
What: Training to help you meet a number of IPM CAP Technical Service Provider certification requirements in an interactive, seminar-style environment.

Resources: The National IPM CAPs Working Group is developing an NRCS-approved TSP IPM CAP training curriculum. A draft curriculum is available here. Please note that each line item meets a minimum requirement for certifying TSPs and should be retained if you choose to adapt this curriculum to meet additional needs in your state.
