Wednesday, Oct. 15

Instructors Briefing at Courtyard Marriott, Denver Downtown. Review of presentations and inspection protocol (pests, pest conducive conditions, pest vulnerable areas, pesticide use and current pest management practices).

Instructors will lead small groups on an inspection and discuss appropriate pest monitoring, pest management options, etc. Bring digital camera, water bottle, and inspection tools (flashlight, hand lens, collection vials, etc.). We have been given permission to take photographs of the school facility, but no photographs of children are allowed.

Classroom Presentation Development

Groups meet with instructors who will facilitate the creation of a PowerPoint presentation demonstrating inspection findings and recommendations using digital pictures taken during the school inspection and the PMSP. http://www.ipminstitute.org/school_ipm_pmsp.htm

Groups will present a PowerPoint on school-site findings. Room discussion will follow each report.
