Developmental or Reproductive Toxin (DR)

These pesticides contain ingredients that have been evaluated for their ability to interfere with normal growth and development, and determined by U.S. EPA or the State of California to be possible, suspected, likely, probable or known carcinogens.

The absence of this designation does not mean a pesticide is free of developmental or reproductive toxins.  It may mean that its ingredients have not been evaluated or that insufficient data are available to make a determination.  Similarly, chemicals may have their classification changed when new data becomes available.
