Endocrine Disrupting Compound (EDC)

These pesticides contain ingredients that have been evaluated for their ability to interfere with hormone systems in animals and humans.

The absence of this designation does not mean a pesticide is free of ingredients with hazards to hormone systems.  It may mean that its ingredients have not been evaluated or that insufficient data are available to make a determination.  Similarly, chemicals may have their classification changed when new data becomes available.
